PATH was originally founded in March 2014 by two mothers whose sons were in early recovery from addiction. Seeking guidance through established family support networks, they remained unfulfilled and isolated. As they witnessed the growing problem of substance abuse in their community, the need for family support became paramount. By making personal connection through parent meetings, they forged an alliance with others who had similar thoughts, desires and ideas of what an effective support group could offer. From these ad hoc meetings, PATH was established and on July 28, 2014 PATH received approval as a 50lc3 organization. During the last year, PATH has added six business leaders to our board to help us accomplish our mission.
