Executive Director of Operations
After a challenging journey with her own child, Deb was inspired to create a safe space where families could connect for support and education. Deb co-founded Path to provide this opportunity to families, with the understanding that Substance use Disorder impacts more than just the individual. Deb is Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) Family Support Specialist, and a member of the HOPE Task Force in DuPage County.


Rena Humbert
Rena resides in Oswego IL. She became a member of PATH when her youngest son began his over 6 year journey of addiction. Her son did find recovery for almost 2 years until he relapsed, overdosed and died after learning he was HIV positive due to a dirty needle he used over two years previously. Rena is now committed to educating others about HIV and how to support anyone at risk for the virus. She is certified in Narcan training and a Court Appointed Special Advocate/Guardian Ad Litem in Kendall County.  Rena is committed to helping anyone struggling with addiction regardless of their role in it.
